Brazilian BBQ
I really, really, really like meat, tender tasty beef, and maybe a piece or two of lamb and chicken. I also really like mixing my meat with various fresh fruits, especially sweet ones.
So here are many photos, of our wonderful time at Rei Do Gado in San Diego where we went with Julia and our two kiddos. Kyla thought all the servers were cowboys/cowgirls and would spontaneously call out loudly “Look daddy, it’s a cowboy!” whenever she’d spot one.
At one point she also pointed out a “big man” — “Look daddy it’s a big man.” (Me totally engrossed in my meal): “Really Kyla, where’s the big ma….” I quit before I embarrassed myself further. The joys of children, she doesn’t yet understand that pointing out that somebody is “wide” might be taken offensively.
There was a woman playing a piano right next to our table, and Kyla and Shani would clap at the end of each song. She noticed them and played…can you guess? It’s a Small World After All…just for them. Oh the sappy sweetness!
Yeah, we go to the Churrascaria places here and for a while Isaac would point out a waiter (as he was approaching the table of course) and say Dada!!
Hehehe, that’s pretty funny! How embarrassing! How old is he now?
