The Birthday Siblings
Once upon a time there was this girl, and Cheri was her name. Now Cheri had an ordinary birth date, absolutely nothing special about it, except that (of course) it was her birthday. One day before her 12th birthday we (her siblings) were planning her birthday party. We had big plans for her special day and we were feeling pretty proud of ourselves for even remembering that it was her birthday at all (since being in a large family of 16 you’re bound to forget a birthday or two, right?). The very next day we woke up a bit earlier than usual to be sure we had everything just right before she came down for breakfast. As we reached the bottom of the stairs we were faced with a horrid sight on TV. We were so stunned that half the day went by before we remembered it was Cheri’s birthday. The date: September 11, 2001. Who could forget a birthday on such a day? Not I.
Cheri, I remembered your birthday, Julia remembered your birthday, and I’m sure many others as well. We have no excuses for being late, but it’s better late than never so….
HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHERI! We love you! -Tammy and Jaymi

Now there once was a boy and his birthday is still on a ordinary date but what makes it almost as remember-able as Cheri’s is that it immediately follows her birthday (which, as you all should remember, is September 11). This boy’s name is Tom. His birthday September 12th. Tom I remembered your birthday as well (Julia didn’t). I meant to post this yesterday but my computer acted up. Thankfully I am married to a …(and I say this with pride and respect) GEEK. Therefore he (the geek) fixed it for me today so I am now able to say….
Happy Birthday Tom!!!
(I really did not mean to be late but I love you and hope you can forgive me for being late…can you?)
thanks tam.
Thanks Tammy & Jaymi, I love you too!
Tammy, do you have an email address that you check more often these days? Or is the one I wrote you at last fine?
I haven’t been on this blog in awhile, but you all look great, the kids keep getting bigger, haha, I love and miss you all!
Take Care!
