Sam & Tammy

On Mother’s Day, Tammy, Shani and I went to two of the parks nearby, we walked from one picnic to the next offering a free heart or flower balloon to the mothers. After we got our foot in the door with the balloons we passed out the Mother’s Day Activated magazines or some appropriate Reflections. It was really a lot of fun and a nice change from the usual witnessing routine. All the mothers were very appreciative and we were able to give a deeper witness to several people (along with a fellow from Calvary Chapel who we talked to about prophecy). Quite a few folks offered us food or drink and one grandma just insisted on taking a picture of us. We didn’t meet any really outstanding people, nor was anybody that we spoke to moved to tears, but I know this simple act of outgoing love and appreciation left an impression.
